not directly related to your post:
i have an on going theory that s2k get stronger with age. for example, my s2k baseline at 197rwhp @27k miles. on the same dyno my buddie with a bone stock 01 with 71k make 205whp. we know that NSXs get stronger with age, and i think that the s2k is going to be the same way.

he was just screwing with you.
There's a red F-body around here with various stickers that say things like "No chance rice boy!," "Import Killer," and "375hp." Makes me think he got whooped by an import one day and now tries to take it out on the slower ones.

no idea, probably cuz I didnt hear him chirpin any gears. These days autos are overtaking the stickshifts.
Not trying to talk crap at all. Sounds like you have a strong/intelligently modded S and can drive. GOOD RUN!
(from a dig if he was auto at about 60-65mph you should have noticed him accelerating harder).
Good runs, LS1's arent a joke, 2.73 auto or not. 40-50mph punches are a dick thing to do to a 2.73 A4 LS1 though!
I doubt S2K's or ANY car get any "faster" after 20K miles. At least nothing you would notice. I do know a guy who ran 13.3@105 in a 110K mile auto Z28 (98 stripper).
I also know that according to mag tests the 0-120 was a tick or two slower in an M3 after their "long term" test.
FRM cyl. walls (I think thats what its called?) ect. ect. lead me to belive the S2K should have good "staying power" with age/miles though. It's a well-built engine.

The auto tranny's are getting better and better every year. In the GTO world auto's turn quicker times in the quater.
