I was working on a run with a 725 hp Ferrari F-40 but had to settle for a guy in a white C5 Vette. The guy in the Vette was totally clueless. He had been getting more and more worked up as we went down PCH. I had been teasing him for about 5 miles while playing with a SL320. We ended up side by side at a light with nothing but open highway in front of us. When the light turned green I started off easy to make sure he was going for it. Sure enough, he was going for it. He pulled about 4 car lengths quickly as I short shifted second gear. At that point I gave it full throttle and stopped his advance. In third gear I started winding him back in. Forth gear I ran up past him a little, looked over and gave him a big grin
. As I was grinning, I pushed it into fifth and proceeded to pull him a good bus length. I'll bet he never races an S2000 again.
With 440 rwhp, this thing is a woot to drive.

I'm not sure what you are saying but a dyno is posted. No BS here, just good ol' fun and horsepower.

I think Steve is talking about the power curve, that it's only making 440whp for the last 100rpm before it hits the redline. But what do you expect? It's a SC'ed S not a Vette.
It only needs a teeny, weeny, itty, bitty power to be very quick.

It doesn't matter. Before 440-rwhp mark, it was still making 400, 350, 300, 250, etc. in other RPM's. And compare those to stock, which barely makes much power at any RPM, yet is still plenty quick. Remember, S2000 is light and geared aggressively.
