nice times, def a better 60 foot and ur looking at 12's. Some educated track guys may shed some light on this, but do your roll hoops allow you to run under 13.5's at the track? Convertible cars that are modified in any way are not allowed to run lower than a 13.5. I know because I've been punted lol.
The only thing they said is that if the car was faster than a 13.5 then id need either a hardtop or a rollbar. They said nothing else.I only made one pass so i was not booted

Most tracks cut off convertibles at 13.5?!?

I'm thinking of hitting the track this coming friday, but I don't want to waste money if I can only run a pass or two

Here in South Fla. They booted me off the track when I was STOCK! Here it's 14.0 or faster you must have a helmet and roll bar/cage...It use to be that way anyway's...

The my 04 box is all around a better box imo.It shifts better and makes the car a little quicker. The second gear grind is better but you can still make it grind if youre not paying attention to the shift.Cruising is better with the slightly taller 6th gear.

so for the ultimate in NA gears the idel set-up would be 4.77's with the AP2 box on an ap1??

a little to much shifting lol?........
