Heading home from the Video store, came to a light where I needed to turn. Pulling up behind me at the light from the the headlight config. was a Lexus es300 (Im pretty good at recognizing headlights in the rear view, yes dark!) As he pulled up behind me the music that was blaring went silent. The light turned, I knew the next 1/4+ mi. were open, 2 lanes both ways to the next light. I rounded the turn briskly, glanced back to see this guy right on my bumper! (Im thinking this guys got to be kidding!) So I put it down, 1st,2nd,3rd, (figured that should be enough) looked back and this guy is still right there! The light was red so I stopped. He pulled up beside me and I instantly saw that it was an 06 EVO ( I thought to myself at least he didnt go by me!). He rolled down the window I yelled out the window ( thats a damn fast car!). He exclaimed(its only a four cylinder!). I said, (smiling to myself, So is this!), (Turbo?) he asked. (Nope!). (OH..., with not so much enthusiasm).

I stuck behind a Neon that was flooring it the other day. I didn't realize he was flooring it until I noticed we were doing 75mph in a 45. I immediately slowed down and chuckled figuring he thought I didn't pass because I couldn't. I proceeded to blow his doors off at the next light just to make sure. I don't always decide to actually pass cars that I'm toying with. I'm not saying that's what happened to you, but I thought I'd share.

 

No, it was evident that when he pulled up beside, he was was quite proud that he kept up in a four cyl. (not knowing anything about what I was driving), A good driver I know would have gotten at least to even in that distance( althought slight downhill 3/4 the way was my advantage to keep my revs up!)

 

how do you have a car like an evo and not know what an S2k is?
