Default S vs Evo vs Type-R

Was driving and came to a stop light up ahead, I saw about 10-11 cars ahead what seems to be a Integra's taillight. As I got closer what did I see? A yellow 94+ Integra with a type-R spoiler and a type-R badge just under the right taillight, all I could see was that it had an exhaust. I'd stopped behind it at the light, looked over to the front right side and saw a guy on a crotchrocket at the light as well. All of a sudden I heard someone rev'ved, I was sure it wasn't the Type-R. Light turned green and everyone took off normal, for some reason either the Type-R hit vtec in first gear or if it was seriously fawk that it started letting out huge amount of smoke that I had to shut my window. I was blinded by the extreme smoke that the Type-R let from it's exhaust that I had to merge to the right lane and pass it to see a red Evo in front of it, after seeing that Evo we stopped on the next light. There was a car in front of me on the right lane and no cars in front of the Evo, Type-R could of pulled side by side with my S but for some reason it didn't want to cuz it was right behind the Evo. Anyhow this light was the last light 'til we get onto the highway, light turned green and the Evo took off faster than the car in front of me so I was able to merge onto the left lane right behind the Evo cuz the Type-R wasn't side by side with my S at the stop light. I'd followed behind Evo as it slowed down for me to catch up, we were doing about 65mph at the time. As I got side by side with it I guess he also wanted to wait for the Type-R to get along side us as well, as the Type-R got side by side with me in the middle we all took off after the Evo gave the 3rd honk. I dropped my S to 3rd and switched into Vtec mode, I'd pulled a good half a car on both after downshifting. At the end of 3rd onto 4th I was a good car on the Evo with the Type-R 6-7 cars back, we shut down at 120mph with me about 1.5 cars on the Evo. Evo had the first jump with it's nose about 1 foot ahead, I got no idea about the Type-R. I was wondering if it was a Type-R clone or a Type-R with a blown motor, either way it had no chance in the race. My mods are only i/h/e along with 18" rims/kuhmo 711 tires... Evo had a exhaust for all that I could see, Type-R had a exhaust as well with all them killer cloud of smoke . After I'd signaled my win over the the race we waited for the Type-R to catch up and we all gave each other a , both Evo and Type-R took the next exit as I walked away with my victory...
Second Evo kill and first for either a Type-R with blown motor or a Type-R wannabe....

Oh and yes the Type-R was in the race cuz I could hear it's engine come to life when we all downshifted, for some reason it got killed so easily. Probably went all out racing the Evo and blown it's motor before I'd came along, sux for him but really bad for the car...

Nice run

I can't wait to run en Evo 8, been seeing them around more often lately. As for the Type R, if it was a 94'ish Integra it was either a ricer or a clone. Then again, they did come in early 97' which had the same front-end.

The only real encounter I've had with an ITR is down a freeway ramp, and he caught me out of VTEC...so he was right on my ass...near about to pass until I hit it in 3rd, managed to even it up again and pull on him slightly up to 100mph, but it was a very disappointing encounter for me...

What did the Evo's exhaust look like that made it look aftermarket?

It was alot bigger than the usual Evo exhaust tip along with the louder tone it gave, also when I said someone rev'ved it was the Evo that was in front of the ITR. It wanted to run against that guy on the crotchrocket but the guy didn't respond. That ITR was a wannabe, don't ITR come with like a factory add on?

just look for the 5 lug wheels, most ricer/clones don't take it that far.
