Default g35 vs 350z

I raced a 04 350z from second gear till the end of third in my girlfriends 2004 G35 Coupe 6 Spd. He had a full Nismo exhaust, Nismo carbon fiber intake, tein coilovers, and aftermarket rims. I think the rims were 18inch. At the end of third he was only about a half a car ahead of me is that right?
also does anyone know what the outcome a stock s would have against this g35?

wtf is this shit haha.. My tax money for your education is not being used properly!! Use it!

Oh and the S would most likely come out on top over the G with a decent driver.

Well I have an '04 G coupe, and when I raced my buddies '04 350z with basically the same mods as the one you raced (just different brands) it was pretty even.

And when I raced my G35 vs one of my buddies basically stock s2000's (I/E), the S2K ate me up.

Check it..

G/Z

And when I had my S, I use to eat up G's and Z's when all I had was like a cold air intake and exhaust. I never though the pre HR Z's were quite as quick as a properly driven S2000. But others will argue.

^^^^Depends. Some pre hr 350Zs are just weak. Mainly the 2006s. Theres a reason why nissan only had the revup engine out for 1 model year. Now 2003-2004.5 ones are pretty quick. Take mine for example. My best quarter mile time with just intake, exhaust, test pipe, and y-pipe is 13.80 with and crappy 2.1 60ft and trap of 102. Compared to my buddies best S2k time of 14.0, with a 2.1 60ft and trap of 99. When we race from a roll we are even through first, I barely pull a fender in second. And then a soon as I hit third the car just starts pulling away HARD! We always joke because my 3rd gear pull is so hard it almost look like I have nitrous.
