Video (as long as the troll working the camera can figure out which button is RECORD and which way to point!)

I meant to say, for the most part, people breaking axle or diff are those with forced induction.

Actually because the car is stock and it's an amatuer open track event, it doesn't void the warranty. Legally sanctioned amatuer events have no bearing on warranty.

while I'm at it, I will need someone to host any videos I get.

anyone help me out there?

(hell, I figure if I get a 13.6xx S2ki.com will maybe put that video in their damn library!! lol)

You don't know how right you are. You hit it on the head....

Here's the night's events.

We got down there and they had special runs going, along with the open race.... translation... we sat in the pit lane for about 2 hours before we even got to run.

So now I have a cold engine, and cold tires, and I get up to the line. I have 2 heat bars.... I should have started the engine sooner, but it was impossible to tell when we'd actually we able to go. The temperature was between 65-70 I think and it was somewhat humid. Like 70-75% humidity. (i dont know for sure, so I may be off on the temp/humidity)

First run, I get ancy cuz the guy in the other lane deep staged, and then backed up, etc... I end up dumping at 7500rpm. I spin the tires for a long time... trying to feather the gas, and can't get the tires to bite.
First run:
R/T 1.152
60' 2.400 (shitty shitty)
1/8 9.509@77.51 (like auto stang GT here)
1/4 14.601@96.20mph

Worst run I have EVER had in the S2000.

2nd run. Drop at 6300rpm. Again the tires spin like mad... again I feather the throttle to try to regain traction...
60' 2.244
1/8 9.336@77.65
1/4 14.421@96.48

Last run... now I'm pissed. I let out some air from the tires...(didn't have a gauge so no idea what i was running)
At this point I am talking to my friends and they are all spinning their tires bad on launch.... It's a newly re-surfaced track, but I don't know if that would be any bearing. Out of the 2 LS1's and 1 LT1 SS we had, the best run the 3 of them could come up with was a 14.5. They ran anywhere from 14.5-14.99. Mind you, the other times these guys have run at the track, they have all gotten 13's....

So I decide to drop at 5500rpm to try to get SOMETHING close to 14.0. I know the way the car is driving in the heat/humidity that it's doubtful I'll break 13's.

Line up... 5500rpm.. GO!
Spin spin spin... tires are spinning AGAIN!!!!
Again, I have to feather the gas and by the time I grip, I already know it's gonna suck.
R/T 1.285 (made sure I launched at 5500rpm)
60' 2.265
1/8 9.373@77.65
1/4 14.427@97.06

Sorry guys, no good runs today. I plan on going back next weekend, but if the weather stays like this it's gonna suck.

Better luck next time. You had your hopes set too high (you know the odds of 13.6xx was against you)
