I'm sitten at home last night and my friend Bryan calls me up and says.. "Hey these guys Kevin and Justin have two CRX's and they wanna run the S2." so i'm like nah... what do they got in it.. he said "i/e/h and head work...one of them is squezzin a 100 shot".. so i said alright... its not like i called them out.. ill do them the favor of racing... well they were talking down on the s2000 saying its all talk and not as qucik as its made out to be... so they said both of there CRX's take disgUstang GT's by at least 2 cars (w/o nitrous) so i said lets do it... the first one was the one with the 100 shot. We launched.. i boggggggeedd SO bad.. i dropped it at 6.2 and my RPM had to drop to like 4... so he immediately had like a car on me.... when we put it into second i could smell the nitrous.. i was like shit i lost ... but he didnt pull! at all.. i passed him half way through third and ended up beating him by like a hood (s2k has a long hood) ...the other one...heh.. on the other one which was suppose to be faster i dropped the clutch at 7.1 launched perfect... stayed in VTEC...peace out.. by the end of first he was about a full car behind me......well i won.. ( no flames about racing cars not in our league .. remember they called me out)...but besides the fact those were some quick CRX's... sh*t one could hang/almost beat an s2 when on the bottle.

 

I wonder what motor they were running.

I hate it when people does that....saying *I want to run that s2000* and yada yada. They sometime sounds like they're have shiet car. If you want to run someone, come straight to them and ask them in a formal ways (IE-nice car, you want to run my crx for fun).....Don't start dissin others ride even before you run them. Last week I was at the race and i heard this guy calling me out from afar....*I want that s2000*...I came straight to his face and told him, who the fu*K you think you are man. Ask me nicely and i'll run, I'm doing you a favor to let you run me.

I completely agree.

 

I agree, but I don't think that guy saying "I want that S2000" was talking trash. That to me is a complement. It's like they're comparing their cars to a car they KNOW is fast. They wouldn't look at a civic and say, man, I want that civic. They know they can get the civic. The S2000 is in a different league. Maybe they are faster, maybe not, but either way, they know the S is fast.

 

Yeah, just think if the S2K was on the bottle, it would have been really embarrassing.

 

Someone said it once on here, and I seem to repeat it more and more these days.

"It's like people want to disprove what they've read about the S2000."
