If I was the guy on the hondasociety forum that did it, I'd be contacting you and offering to pay for everything before you go to the cops. Be a lot cheaper for him and probably keep his ass out of jail.

His buddies over the other board should suggest that to him. I wonder if the other board removes the thread, does that make them some form of accessory to covering up an assault with a deadly weapon?

Here in Fla it's 10yrs on the first offense then 20 then life for commiting a crime with a weapon.

Its hard to believe that he would shoot at you if he was not antagonized at all.
Things like that normally escalate from something.

 

You didn't deserve to get shot at, but you're at fault yourself too. Shouldn't have played around with him in the first place. You acted like an idiot by racing/flying by him and he acted like an even bigger idiot by shooting at you.

Next time mind your own business and you and your car can get home in one piece.

 

WOW. That guy better watch who he plays with. There are enough people out there with REAL guns that would've shot back. Sorry to hear what happened.

 

I'd be sorely tempted to track him down and pay him back in kind (several windows). But the truth is his shooting at you while you were moving, even with just BB's, was serious. You could have been startled and wrecked.

 

I would find the guy and prosecute him to the fullest extent. Sounded like he wanted the pellets in your face. I dont know much about the law but that sounds like attempted murder while driving to me.

 

It's a felony in California to do anything to a moving vehicle. You can't even throw a water balloon at a boat. Contact the CHP and let them take it.
