I've seen plenty of wheelies on the street. I just wish it had been me. You guys need to get out more. If I remember right he said he still had the original motor. If you're going to build something, use a crate motor.

Lol. This post is a little too FnF for me.

Plus, who the hell drives a tubbed, blown big block on the street? Most people who have invested that kind of time ad money into a car dont want to dick around like that.
I've seen pro street cars driven on streets arond where I am more than once. I mean a 80 years old lady can tell that the car is not street legal, the roll cage, the tubbing, big ass cams, and straight pipes. Popping a wheelie on the street is not ALL that bad, certainly when compared with some of the crap that people post about on here. I think stumping it from a light with clear road ahead and popping a wheelie is no where as bad as let's say weaving in and out of traffic doing over 100mph.

No, you have me all wrong. I think it would be an awesome sight, Im doubting the ability of a car to hook up well enough on the street to get three feet of air under the front tires. That thing should be well into single digits.

I have seen plenty of Pro Street cars running around on Racing slicks around town. Matter of a fact there is a Tubbed 69 Camaro that drives around Freemont all the time.

Like a previous posted stated. You guys need to get out more, or move away from that one horse town you live in.

Props to you dads car man.

The camaro you are referring to used to be purple, parked on paseo? Wills 69? Hasnt been tubbed for a few years now, and was turning 11s at sears when I saw him last. Besides, I know a few people who went to school with the guy, apparently the car was more bark than bite.

The last is strictly second hand knowledge, so take it for what its worth.

But a tubbed car on the street (dont they usually run a spool?) is not a la-di-da like you make it sound. Particularly up here, of all places. I'd NEVER risk something like that on the street, its about as legal as a blunt on wheels.
