whooped a GT ...FLAT OUT WHOOPED HIM....up hill at that...

heres what happned...

going to work the other morning i spot a gt mustang..new body style, not the new old retro body style....pulling out of the gas station, so im like SWEET....so i catch up as fast as legally possible and just wait cuz about 3 miles up the road there is a passing lane, which is up hill.....We finally get to the lanes and we are both behind a slower truck which he is riding the guys ass and im about a car behind the stang, waiting..as we approach the lane i drop it to third, doing about 60 and just wait, knowing the car will move over.....as soon as the car moves the mustang makes his move and hammers it, but not without me being prepared, almost instantly i am on his ass just waiting for him to get over....he finally got over and i just walked him, putting an easy 3 cars on him before the end of the passing lane..im guessing the passing lane is about 3/4 miles long??? i could be wrong..

the same morning just further down the road he was in front of a big rig, with a trailer and behind a geo. I am one car behind the big rig...as soon as the road opened up he gunned it once more,... i had to wait about 3 seconds cuz there was a slight bend from where i was at on the passing lane. but as soon as i could see i shot out, hammering the hell out of it..he pulled a couple of cars because of the jump, but by 120 i was catchin up hard, but we had to slow down cuz of upcoming cars ,....had we had more stretch i would have easily passed him ..

i finally caught up with him at a stop and he was like...that things quick, i just smile...knowing he had NO idea it was a 4 banger, and had i told him it would have probably broken his heart...(young guy, maybe mid 20's)
sorry its so long, and if its hard to understand its because im tired...im a new dad and you fathers out there know what its like

Not too good of a kill! A GT would've had a very hard time against a stock S, much like an S/C one.

Good kill! I've also noticed a lot of S/C'd S's popping up...and I'm seriously considering it...

 

He says "not the new retro body", so it means the '04 and previous.

 

Yeah but even the 260 hp version is still a good race for an S from what I've heard. Havent raced one in the S, but easily pulled away from one in the Evo.
