I'm with what Glen said. He probably just got the car and doesn't know too much about the cars and such yet. Or....this is a long shot here, but possible- He may have dropped in an LT4 and just wasn't telling you that directly, or not just yet. The LT4 was in the '96 Anniversary Vettes and just a handfull of F-Bodies (not '95's though). Have to look under his hood and see what intake he has and look for the tall tale signs of motor work. Don't underestimate a car if it has 'only' has an LT1. A few like mine on only motor run solid 12's on street tires.
probably see you this weekend- John

I didn't even think about the LT4. The LT4's would drop right in place of an LT1. If it has a red intake manifold that would mean it is an LT4, or possibly the guy just got his manifold powder coated. I any case an LT4 is roughly in the same territory as an LS1 power wise, but definitely not 150 hp more than an LS1. If he was making that kind of power N/A the car is going to lope like crazy so it shouldn't be too hard to tell if he's full of sh!t.

It all depends on what he has done.
I am putting out about 410-415 horses at the crank, then add about 150 shot I have. That puts me about 255 above a stock LS1. I believe it

Hey Marv, Just saw your video of the F40 and that was awesome! Seems like the old guy wanted to play.
Were you able to run him again? Again, awesome video! First one i've seen with an F40 willing to play!

If that '95 was 'quiet', then the guy was just doing some talking.

Glen- Mods list:
Comp Cams camshaft, headwork, 52mm Throttlebody, Crane Gold 1.6 roller rockers, dual valve springs, hardened pushrods, upgraded lifters, adjustable fuel regulator, 160 deg t-stat, ADS street chip, GM rapidfire #3 plugs w/ Accel 9000 wires, MSD 6AL w/ GM coil, EGR delete, Edelbrock Jet-Hot coated headers w/ y-pipe, high-flo cat to custom Mufflex 3 1/2" intermediate pipe, high-flo muffler, 2800 rpm stall, 3.73 rear gearing, custom 3 1/2" balanced lightweight aluminum driveshaft, underdrive pulley kit, LG adjustable panhard rod, Edelbrock lower control arms, PST custom front & rear sway bars w/ polygraphite bushings, Energy Suspension tranny mount, LPE double diamond subframes, upgraded brakes...that's about all I could think of off the top of my head. Good for 12.40's with wheelspin.
Project currently underway installing bigger cam, more headwork, custom fuel system & PCM programming and bigger cubes.

Thanx Fade, let me know if you have any questions on mods.

Hey Yoo, where are pics of the new rims? I am sure I will never see them since you never stop and talk to the other F-bodie guys

S2000 rider, thanx, but that wasn't me in the Video, but it was the same outcome
That dude is always out. He actually had the nerve to tell me he liked how my car sounded and he wanted to hear me get on it. What was he smokin? He has an F40!! who cares what my car sounds like
