has anyone run against an EVO or STI?

I don't think anyone that is NA would have the gut, especially the EVO. The presence just scares the F&%K out of me. If the S is FI, then that is another story. I once saw an EVO eat the sti like it was nothing. That thing is really fast, especially the one that imported from Japan (not the de tuned US or Autralian version).

All cars being stock......
[Rolling start]i would assume that an Evo and STI are about even up until about 100mph or so..... then the shorter gearing of the STI will walk away from a Evo.
The Evo can drive away from the S2000 up until about 100-110mph when gearing comes into play again.....evo ends 4th gear at 115mph (similar to S2000), then 5th gear is awefull......redline is about 165mph.... that is a huge huge gap! The evo cannot keep up with anything in 5th gear.
