here are few thing i observed and thought

1. he does suck driving
2. his car is over powered and he doenst know how to use it properly yet
3. that autox track design is not safe - running so close to trees

However, I think he is better than people who doesn't do the autox/track events and think they know how to drive or know their limits. I spun out many times like he did when I first started my autox, and I still spin out time to time. still learning....
and thanks for the funny video

I'm impressed at how loose the steering is. There's a delay between the steering wheel turning and the vehicle responding. Also he has to make huuuuuge inputs to get the thing even to slalom. It's like a school bus recirculating ball steering column in it's precision.

I just saw one at an autox event yesterday. The guy was tip-toeing through the course and got horrible times along with a bunch of other unfamiliar Mustangs that showed up. One was an '05 Stang that had insane amounts of wheel hop on the simplest turns!

Wow, you talk about not learning, one mistake after the other and he just kept flogging the hell out of that poor car. Maybe he missed the turn to the drag strip and ended up there by mistake? You know the porsche guys got a kick out of that. (notice it was a PCA event)

Words that come to mind:
1. Wow
2. Ham-fisted
3. Sausage
4. Homer Simpson
5. Steel toe boots

Words that are farthest from my mind:
1. Finesse
2. Delicate
3. Precision
4. Skill

He does get points for persistence, though.

If you think about it, the Fox Body Mustang must be a great car to track. That guy was offroad and in the woods more than he was on the track and he still didn't break anything. Impressive!
