On hwy 100 last night, had a civic that was trying to get me to race. He kept speeding up and shifting so I could hear his blow off valve.

Finally at a light, we end up next to each other, and though I have the top down, I figured what the hell.

Light turns and we both roll out floor it (no launch). I gain a car on him through 1st gear so his front bumper is just behind me. We race all the way through and he pulls about a half car as we start to get up to higher speeds. Once I go into 4th though, he stops pulling and since I'm breaching 100mph I decide to shut down. (his front bumper was at my door)

And what does he do? He flies past me and throws his hazards on.

Wow.... so apparently, when you finish behind a car in a race, it means you can just fly by and you really win. Rarely do I ever get ricer flyby'd, but I'm hoping this rookie reads this post somehow. It does piss me off that he thinks he actually won. Please my friend, I need your name so I can add it to the list of stupid people I will be sterilizing when I become president.

Oh and if anyone does know who this loser is, please send him my way, because I'd be glad to continue our race and own his ass far into the triple digits. And god forbid I actually launch.

Man that would piss me off. I'd chase him down and put that monkey in his place.

It's probably a little reckless of me, but I usually keep going until they backoff. This way they know they are beat.
Or you chase him down and when he's not paying attenion you do a fly by.
