Well, I had another tiburon encounter on my way home from work. A red tiburon GT with a red GT sticker in the back window. It had dual exhaust, and I don't know if that's stock or not??? (i assume so)

He was flyin along, and after flying by me, I caught back up to him. Yeah, I was lookin for trouble, but hey... I was bored. He never got around to playing, so before we ran back into traffic, I downshifted and went to about 110mph for my own amusement. (top down )

I will assume he knows he's out of his league and where he sits on the food chain.

But I did take a good long look at the car. Other than the sticker, it looked like everything else was stock. And I hate to say it, but I'm really liking the look of those tiburons. It looks really sharp, even my fiancee thinks so. (and that says a lot for her to take interest in another car)

Hmmm, daily driver and winter car???

I just might have to pick one up someday....

Well I think I'm going to go to the dealer and try to take one for a little spin.

But I'm not going to be in a position to buy right now, so what lie can I come up with to get a test drive, but then get away from the damn high pressure salesman?? lol

 

the car is fine and all, but WHY do they always come looking for me? everytime i see one, they give me the "you want some???" look. i'm just another innocent looking guy just trying to get from point A to point B. pls, if you buy the car, don't buy the "attitude" ok? haha

i think for the money, it's a great car.

 

when i go to the dealer, they see the S2000 and mostly they give me a fair bit of attention (more so than when i had my civic). i tell them "i'm looking for a daily driver". just be flat out with it. when i say that, they understand, especially if they know what an S2000 is (no room in trunk, 2 seater, etc). at the end, say "well, it's just not what i want from a car. not as roomy as i expected from the articles and i think i i need leather (doesn't come as an option right?)" or something like that. then give them the key and just RUN!! lol

 

Ya nice looking car....GF was looking at one.....couple of problems.....no lease...hyundia does not lease.....And oh my god
...Adjusted value for demand.....ouch ...car was close to twenty one thousand. For that money get an rsx! But they do look nice.
