UL,

I feel ya! It disturbs me that s2k owners stereotype Civic, Integra, CRX, etc. owners as ricers or rejects from the Fast n Furious. I posted a thread in regards to this subject yesterday in the s2k talk forum. I know all the Hybrid guys and a number of NSX/s2k owners that have Hybrids for the track.

It`s a damn shame

Ryan

Sounds like your Civic encounters are stoplight confrontations and your Vette encounters actually include a bit of dialogue and a hand shake. Two totally different situations. Give the Civic guys a chance, they may surprise you.

yeah, because no one else has done dumbass things to me at a stop light except riced civics and some actually fast turbo civics. The corvette guys have stopped and talked...and been cool..the civic guys..give dirty looks, rev their engines and try to act hard....it's lame.

Me thinks you all need to spend more time on the track driving and less time playing GT3. Many of the arguments made here (specifically the comments against FWD) are total bunk -- innocent bunk -- but bunk non the less.

Is it worth trashing each and every one of them? No This is an interesting thread.

Look, I don't want to be an ass....sorry if i have come off as one. I just get real tired of the looks and annoyances for people on the road....and most of these have come from riced civics, integras and such. I know every group has its jackasses, it just seems more seem to congregate to the import scene...it probably has something to do with the fact many of them are younger. This thread has gotten way off of topic...partially my fault.

I will leave with this. True import enthusiasts are cool, but most who claim to be aren't. Honda fan boys bug the $hit out of me. A lot of car makers make great cars. I love Porsche, Vettes, Lambo's, Ferraris, ...i could go on. I will admit that having a raced tuned FWD car is a fine way to learn to drive. I prefer RWD and will stick with it..as I see no harm done this way. I am not a honda enthusiast..nor am i any particular maker enthusiast...I am a good car enthusiast no matter if it is made in the US or across the pond. Brand loyality is lame to me....you think the companies care about you, but yet you give them loyality...makes no sense to me..to each his own.

No one listen to this guy. I have been warned by Sev and others that he is a moron. I think by this comment you can tell that.

Clearly Steve you haven't actually read what RicePimp and others wrote. It has all been based in physics and fact...unlike your bogus generalizations about BMW's, S2000's and ITR's...time to use the ignore button for the first time.
