I had to drive my g/f to her old house about an hour away last night. I didn't want to drive back, so I decided to let her. A mile or so from her house, we were at a stop light, and I noticed an older Tiburon on our ass. So the light turns green, and my girlfriend is just trying to get use to the clutch. She shifts into second and much to her dismay experiences some second gear grind.

About this time, I notice the Tiburon switching to the next lane and gun it. Then my girlfriend, in embarassment, slams on the accelerator, not realizing that the Tiburon was probably looking to race. The Tiburon fell back behind quickly in the time that it took for my car to go from 3k RPM's to 7500 RPM's at 3/4 throttle.

And the entire time my g/f was driving and had no idea someone was trying to race us! Now I just need to find a new Tiburon owner....

Now come on now - that'd be like me going hunting for a Civic Si or something.
Pick on somebody your own size...

That's funny as hell. Not trying to rip on the tiburon. But it's just a good story. I wouldn't care if it was xxx car, but hey, great kill on your woman's part!

Yeah, but sometimes people are just asking for it (and sometimes they just want to see what your car can do).
