I was out with my fiancee and came up to a red light. A new celica GT (not GTS) was sitting at the light. I pulled up next to him and noticed he had an exhaust. Not thinking anything (and since we were in a hurry) I accelerated briskly, shifting pre-vtec, but getting up to speed. Suddenly I hear this BWAHHHHHHHHHH, coming up next to my car, and my fiancee goes "dear, I think you are winning a race you didn't know you were in". With that I heard his car again in the next gear... BWAHHHHHHH (it was an auto) and I got up to speed. (about 55mph) By this time he was at my door and he flew by, then slammed on his brakes and turned right...

I suppose this is a win, though I sorta expect to see some thwack on the newcelica.org forum going.... "Sizmoked a sheezy fa-hEeZy S2000 in mah bumpin Ri-zide"



I will surely be in there to go....
