I meant if the driver knows how to launch the car well. Even in automatic cars, some people cannot launch as well as others. But either way, IS350 should trap 5 mph higher than a stock S2K.

heres what i've found so far

IS350=
1/4 Mile ET: 13.609
1/4 Mile MPH: 101.740
1/8 Mile ET: 8.799
1/8 Mile MPH: 81.799
0-60 Foot ET: 2.100
Temperature F: 70.0
Timeslip Scan:
Car Make: Lexus
Car Model: IS350
Car Type:
Car Year: 2006
Driver: David
E-Mail: Private

1/4 Mile ET - 14.581*
1/4 Mile MPH - 98.850
1/8 Mile ET - 9.605
1/8 Mile MPH - 78.300
0-60 Foot ET - 2.416
Temp F - 77.0
Car - Lexus IS350
Year - 2006

the fastest time i found for a stock is350 was 13.72@103. i would say that a stock is trapping at 106 is a bit of an exaggeration. but from what i've seen it would appear to be about the same as 350z vs. s2k.

I did some pulls with my friend's bone stock is350. I have spoon snorkel, j's header, 4.57 FD and he pulled me from 30-90mph about 1 car length. Those things are pretty quick when their power mode button is turned on.

unless he uses/messes up the paddle shifting, it'll be even at best. i raced one off a stop light. i was behind him so no launches, he punched it when i was at ~4000rpm. believe it or not the chase was dead even. actually, in 3rd i was gaining and changed lanes to pass but he let off. maybe he mis-paddle shifted, maybe the car was not broken in, etc. etc. it was when the car just came out.

I raced an IS350 a couple weeks ago when the car just had a intake and a test pipe. We raced from third gear to about fifth. We started dead even but by the time we let off he was half a car back from my bumper. He did have a a girl riding with him and I was riding solo.
