I got my lighter wheels/tires today. Rotational weight should be around 45-47lb less than my current setup. Going to the track on Friday to test it out, and hopefully get a new best.

 

What setup did you go with? Any pics of the car?

I went with Kosei k4r 16x6.5 52mm offset on all 4 corners.

185 55 16 street tires up front
225 50 16 Hoosier Dr's out back

Total Weight savings according to my bathroom scale- 40lb.

Besides the weight savings, they tuck inside the wheelwells nicely. I would imagine there is an aerodynamic benefit as well. (Less tire sticking out past the fenders/bumpers).

Yeah i hear that. I heard the 16" cts compact spare wheels work; the only problem is, m&h only makes a 27x4.5" front runner for a 16" wheel. Hopefully they make a few more sizes, like 23, 24, 25 and 26.
