I was cruising around tonight and came upon this Jetta. He wanted to play, and seeing as how I was on my way home, I figured this would be all I'd get all night. So we turn onto the same street, I sit there in 1st gear at about 25mph waiting for him to come next to me, and he starts going by gunning it, so I hit the gas and catch up to him right after shifting to second gear. And of course that was the end of that. We pull up next to each other at a stop sign, and I start talking to him, and I asked what engine was in it.

Interestingly enough, it was the damned turbo diesel. My mouth practically hit the window sill. I wasn't expecting much in the first place, but to have to take it through first gear to catch up with a diesel impressed me quite a bit. Those are pretty decent engines, I take it...

There is a turbo diesel Volvo here in Houston that'll get up and move. It'll suprise a few people. Anybody know which Volvo I'm talking about?
