Driving home tonight t about 1:30am, I'm just chillin' listening to some music and pull up to a blue WRX not even thinking anything but rhyming Mobb Deep to myself when this guy (kid and his buddy in their 20's) slam their car when the light turns green.

So the tool puts on his hazards about 50 yards ahead of me after taking off in his imaginary race for me to catch up and I do so and tell him out the window cuz my roof was down, going about 30 for him to hit it first. He honks 3 times and hits it, he got on it first obviously being the commander of this debacle but immediately after revving through 2nd and even missing 3rd gear, I was at 75 and at least 2 cars ahead. It was almost that I could get ahead of him at will cuz I slowed down a bit for my exit and he was still punching it, yet I was still a good deal in front.

And you drive what? A Golf 1.8T??? I have driven a chipped Jetta 1.8T myself, and didn't think it was as quick as a stock wrx... Maybe from a 120mph roll or something it might have a chance... but now from low speed runs.

If you have an S2000, then all makes sense..

 

I drive an S2k, that pic is my old car and it could hang with WRX's easily.
