So my buddy has an 05 Enthusiast with JWT Intake and testpipes and I have a bone stock 04 S2000.

He's always wanted to race me cause he wants to see what the S2000 is all about but I have neglected to race because I knew he'd win.

So finally we are headed the same direction, both have passengers and I say ok.

1st Race we go from a 25mph roll. I was in 1st gear (stupid of me) and he was in 2nd. We start and and I immediatly have to shift and he pulls a car on me then just starts walking away hard and I gave up.

2nd Race was more even. We were both in 2nd at about 45mph and go and we were pretty even till about 85 then he starts walking again and ends up about a car ahead of me when I stopped.

Cliffnotes: 350z beats S2000.

 

Just tell him he one because of his mods which is true since Z's respond good to mods anyways.

 

Intake and testpipes could be a extra 25 hp and tq

 

try racing equal vehicles next time, not modded vs stock.

the "inaccurate" part is the part that compared a STOCK car versus a MODDED car and then wrote 350z>s2000.

 

It would be pretty sad if a 3.5L sports car couldn't beat a 2.2L sports car. Sounds like you gave him a good run though!
