Let my friend borrow my s2000. He said he wanted to get it detailed and show it to his girlfriend. Next thing I know he's calling me and telling me that his friend wants to race us with his 95 RX7tt new engine, new stock turbos, boost controller and exhaust. I said what the h-ll, I've spent all this money fixing her up and never raced yet. Plus if he lost I could always blame the driver not the car. They started from a light and ran about 1/4 mile the first 2 times launched the s2000 at 5000 rpm and got the jump on him and stayed 3 cars ahead the whole time shut it down at 118mph. The last time s2000 had a bad launch but caught up and beat him by 2 lengths. Well money well spent, sc, mugen headers, comptech exhaust, comptech cat, 440 fuel injectors, apex vfac, and for the most hp improvement j- racing hood. Owner of rx7 claimed he was slipping to much bad rear tires.

I think they are a brand of headers that are made in Japan. They give the car more power...I guess...

I think shizon was joking about the plurality of headers. There is only 1 header on a s2k. V configuration engines have 2. Lotsa ppl make that mistake.
