What RPM gives you the best launch, and why?

This is a completely useless poll as the launch RPM depends on:

1: Tire pressures
2: Tire wear
3: Outside temperature
4: Asphalt conditions and heat
5: Weight in car (example: baggage and passengers, spare or no spare, how much gas...)

All I can tell you is that you will get wheelspin, however if the RPMs decrease you are not high enough for those conditions, or you have to give more gas. The usual range for hot weather and stock tire pressures is 7k+. I highly reccomend putting the pressures up to about 38 psi cold, then you will need about 6-6.5k.

Fine.. 80 degrees F, 40 percent Humitity, Hot-tires... Dry roads, S02 Tires with 2000 miles on 'em... OR there abouts.
