My .02 but I haven't seen a stock AP2 walk a lightly modded 05+ GT ever. Chalk it up to a bad driver or the auto tranny. My buddy has no problem walking stock S2000s.

How exactly would a "bad" driver factor in if it was an auto?
from a dig, I can maybe understand , keeping it straight till you hook up. but from a roll, there is not much of a possibility of driver error lmao

Are you suggesting that everyone is a perfect driver with an automatic transmission? As the OP said he was obviously an inexperienced racer, who knows what he was doing. I didn't say that it was definitively the driver did I? There's more to straight line racing than pressing a pedal.

You are right, I always forget that some people in automatics, when racing, just don't put their foot down "all the way"

Perhpas he didn't keep it straight, perhaps he at some point lifted just a touch for God knows what reason. Were you in the car with him?

You must not ride a motorcycle. People have a hard enough time driving just regular speed on the highway and now you all assume because he was in a race he knew how to drive. Jesus, I never said that was definitively the problem, so yes as you said, not much of a possibility, but still a possibility. Unless you care to redact that statement proving yourself wrong.
