For those that care, my old '97 Z28 ran a 13.86@101.68 bone stock the first time I took it to the dragstrip (and the first time I had been to a dragstrip in many years). Don't count the LT1 cars out of the fight; they make loads of low end torque and are relatively easy to launch (much easier than an S2K I would guess). The SRT-4 also seems to be very close in "best" times, but more people seem to be able to run the good times in an SRT than in the Honda.
