Funny after reading this tread no one has been able to tell us what a stock S2000 will do at the track. I am sure SOMEBODY on this forum has had there S2000 at a track and has a slip to show what they ran.

I am not hating I am just wondering. I know a stock GTP will do about 14.1-14.2 with a good driver. And I hear a S2000 does the same. Can anyone fill me in on this?

how much can a neon srt-4 beat a s2k by, its turbo and only has 215 hp..so cant be by THAT much. to bad its still a ugly 4 door

 

I ran a 1:56 at Pahrump last month. It was pretty quick.

 

Well. Define beat? Top speed? Quarter mile? They should be about equal. I believe both cars have upper 13s and 100+ traps.

ok. so by that we can all agree that MOST people will do ABOUT a 14.2 in the 1/4 mile. Agree? So now knowing that, any car that does SLOWER then a 14.2 stock we can all agree that an S2000 will beat.

Also, since the SRT-4 came up, horse power is only a fraction you need to knwo about a car to know how it does in the 1/4 mile, you also need to know tq, the gearing, weight ect ect. So, at the track, there IS a good chance that a STOCK srt-4 WILL beat a S2000, not by mutch, but it will. Please don't flame me, it's just that a SRT-4 with a average driver will do a 13.9 on average.

Also, this means the GTP stock will do ABOUT the same as a stock S2000 at the track. 14.2
