Default A Loss and a Kill

Tonight at approximately 1 am:::

I'm driving and I pass a 240sx and SRT-4 driving side by side. The 240sx speeds up and gets right next to me. I'm driving at 30 mph. We both speed up to 35 mph. He downshifts, I downshift to 2nd, hear his exhaust, and punch the gas just as he's punching it. I expected him to drop behind like crazy but NOOOOOOOO. He's right next to me up until 40, starts pulling at this point, I see his turbo gauges, by 64 mph(end of my 2nd gear), he had a full car on me. As he got in front, a big-assed flame shoots out of his exhaust. I think I did pretty well considering turbo + exhaust plus god knows what else. I was with a passenger, he was alone, looked young. At end of 2nd I shut down, didn't want to get raped anymore. So there it is, I have been dealt my first loss (other than a Z06).

It was the newest body style by the way. Are these called Silvia's?
Looked like this:::

Next:
His buddy wants to play(SRT-4). Gets next to me at around 20 mph and I hear him downshift, at this point I drop it into 1st and take off just as he's taking off (took him a little bit to spool or something). He immediately (by 30) pulls back half a car, and another half by maybe 50. At 80mph I had 2 cars on him, this is where I shut down as it was a street (notheless completely empty... 1 am on a sunday). All I could tell that he has is an exhaust (looked different than stock and was making farting noises). He pulled up next to me, and I was like "nice race" he said "fast car, what do you have done", when I said "nothing", he had the most amazed look. Then he goes on telling me that he never expected an s2000 to beat him like that. Not bad at all race, but I guess they're not as fast as I expected.

My friend Daman dynoed at almost the exact same numbers. So it doesn't lose that much. Just slows down throttle response is what I've noticed. It wasn't exactly 100 degrees at 1 am though.

Was that with the hood up and a fan blowing in? I'd be VERY supprised if you aren't loosing power!

The 240s have a blacktop and are usually around 210whp stock with stock turbo. Bigger injectors, exhaust, MBC, fuel pump ect gives TONS of whp gain on the turbo engine. Its so easy to take a SR20DET to 400whp its not even funny.
