Yeah, i lost to a 240sx... ...i was going down bell rd...in phx and i saw him, black, body kit, rims, turbo loud as hell...kept making a fahzizz sound...or something like that...anyway, i turn down 83rd (i think it was and make my way to thunderbird...he almost turned off but i hit my hazards and he followed me ...yay...lol...anywho, we made our way down to thunderbird then turned right and i was hopin he would follow me onto the freeway...and guess what!.he did,, we both turned the corner to get on the on ramp and we both hit it..i got a small jump(we started at about 13....)but by the end of the onramp he was on my tail... ...and when we finally got to the freeway and a lane opened up he shot past me,(didnt really shoot, but he passed, and i kinda let off we were already into triple digits.......no matter if i let off he was right on my ass...his car was fast..
BUT i refuse to believe my car was that much slower than his...here is my reasoning...:
1. cant shift worth shit (powershifting isnt nice to me, i tend to grind...)i can shift fast as hell, but i cant keep the r's up between, i let off the gas too much and i push in the clutch too far..
2.I talked to him and he has an sr20 swap....and he has sunk 24g's into the car...that includes body and rims..thats a shit load....
the best part though is he told me his quarter mile time...

13.2...which is right where my car would run, if i could drive it...but since i cant, and he obviously can run those times..he had the advantage,,better driver...

either way though, his car was fast...and it looked good...
another thing, i think that had we did another run on the freeway, from 60, it would have been real close, and i might have been able to take him up high..who knows though, right?

Good race. I like when people are honest and admit to a loss! Everbody loses, there is always someone faster. At least ya know he probably worked hard on his car. Tha fhawizz sound or something like that sounds like a turbo. Your get the next guy!

 

also what was funny about that guy, he thought i would get scared at his turbo sound, he actually told me that he thought i would be scared off by it...i dont get scared at no ones car.i dont get intimidated..its all fun to me, i dont care if i lose...
i am always giving the other guy thumbs up...

 

and u think powershifting without taking the foot of the gas pedal is good?
