today i finished with the damn calculus and i decide to cruise for a while.
i came to a stop light with a 996 carrera cab with a hardtop , the driver is with his buddy , and they exchange looks to my car. man! , my heart starts to beat fast! i know that know something was about to happen
we took off normal , and waited ..............................reached the vtec zone in first gear them i waved at him , gave three honks and we GO!!!
i gain a bit from first gear and a bit more on to the 2nd shift , and we stay there !his front bumper at my back wheels)
i cut off at 80mph and gave him a sign that says that i won . we come to the the other red light and he rolls down his window and says :man , that thing moves! congrats on the win , man, and gives me a thumbs up! wow a totaly cool 911 owner! must admite a rare sight!
we take off normally again and comes another stoplight that had a 2003 lumina SS coupe (pontiac GTO for all of u in the USA) that was following us throght all this and the 996 was with him and me behind the GTO, they talk a bit and they decide to go for it when the light goes green.
the carrera launched all over the GTOs ass and gains 2 cars from the first 30 mph, then it stays that way to the end of 4th for me, the carrera signaled that he won and went to his way i go for the GTO but he didnt seem to be intrested (ooh i wonder why! )
i leave him and after about 15 min of cruising i came with an audi S6 (thats what it said) the man looked a bit old but he seemed to be interested for a race as he was reving the nuts.
i was a bit afraid at first but hell! i go for it , 6k launch and he stays with me through the launch , but i gain as soon as i was in vtec (i wasnt gaining much) but i had 1.5 cars lenth on him to 100mph.
i stopped for a little chat , and he was asking me if i can beat a bmw 540, i say yes then he goes ohh, cause i beat a 540 1/2 car lenth. i ask what is a S6 then he says that its a 300hp V8 without a turbo (so much for being an S-6 ) i raced two other cars but they are not worth mentioning (audi tt 180hp and a "modded" dodge durango )

Where the hell do you live? I'm thinking the Middle East. There are those kinds of cars over there? A little too westernized, aren't you?

 

I've seen some very cool videos of races from Israel. Totally deserted road top speed runs I'll see if i can find them...

Nice runs BTW And like someone else asked, what do you have done to your car? You must have a lot of hp to beat a 300hp AWD car
