Default Love the accord!

I think my girlfriend got a factory freak. Some of you may have heard me rave about the new accord's V6 in the past but now I'm starting to wonder if hers isn't a bit special.

I'd never raced anything with her car, just always thought it pulled incredibly hard.

Well today I was in somewhat of an aggressive mood and was pacing an STI. Eventually he got annoyed and stomped it. I know he stomped it cause I saw the smoke burst out of his exhaust. We were on the highway going 70/80 and I stomped it right after he did. HE DID NOT GAIN AT ALL .

Maybe they screwed up and dropped an NSX engine in her car (joke).

I think the sti wasn't trying hard.... I beat mustang gt's and 5.0 all the time and I cant take an sti. Every one believes what they read on thsi board about the sti's. Race one in 40-90 race on the freeway and you will get walked if your not modded....

i have to disagree. 40mph roll and a s will hang with an sti/evo. i have raced both evo/sti from rolls and can stay door to door. some case pull slightly.

hmmm, the one I raced must have been modded then. Becasue I got pulled on hard and I consider my self a fairly good driver.

my friend has an 03 sti with cai, blitz turbo-back exhaust. from 40-50mph rolls i can ever so slightly pull on him. at speeds over 85- i can pull hard on him. i raced evo with bov, catback from 45 roll, pulled one car. but as soon as sti/evo get more modded than that forget it.

Yes I agree. I have raced an evo mr on the freeway before and tied with him. I knew that damn sti driver was lying about being stock because I got walked hard. I don't understand why people like to lie about being stock and what they are running

i guess to the sti owner's perspective to get pull or ran door to door with a 2.0L NA s2000 is no so cool. think about us in our s2k's and some dude in a civic/teg/hell cobalt runs with us or pulls. are you going to be the first to admit that you have minor bolt ons? nope. its all auto-stereotypes. this SHOULD be faster than that. the Sti/evo runs low 13's. the s2k runs mid 13's to low 14's. on paper its not a race, and out of the hole its not. but from a roll different factor come to play and it becomes a better matchup. i am making sense....

i in no way mean to offend the kind and gracious sti/evo guys among us.
