Default LS vtec

my friend owns a 95 integra, ls vtec with type r intake mainfold, typr r exhaust, skunk 2 ecu, intake and header. i have an 02 s2k with intake, we raced just 3rd gear and i pulled about 2 cars. then we raced from 40mph in second through 3rd gear 95mph, i pulled about 4-5 car lengths, the s2k turns one more person into a believer, now he want a new motor.

Interesting. I have this friend that is getting an LS Vtec in his 93 Integra and he says when he is done he will run in the low 13's with just that motor and a few bolt ons. What should I do? Gas is very expensive this days

- depends on whats being done to the motor
- I know some people that can build 11 second motors (all motor) pretty easily, well in an integ probably 12s

He'll need qiute a bit to be able to get into the 13's. A friend of mine has a 2200lb hatch with LS Vtec and a bunch of other goodies, with slicks he runs low 13's.

Tell him that you'll race him, but that the loser has to buy the winner a tank of gas. Problem solved.

The LS vtec motor is the Ls Block on a gsr-head(or anyv vtec head), and they have about a life of 15k miles, They blow up pretty easy but from building one with a friend i can say they are pretty quick with the right driver... My friend ran a 13.2 i believe with his in a civic hatch....
