his car should smoke yours hands down.
the BMW is a far faster and better car than the s2k.
I would sell mine if I had one and buy a M3.

I should see if your brother would sell me his for 50k....
I mean come on a BMW is a real race car right?

if you want a answer to that kind of question you need to go to the street section.

If you lost to an E36 you might want to check your johnson rods.

dont know much about the E36 but the M in M3 stands for both "money" and supposedly "motorsport." to be honest, i would figure the S2K would hang with the E36.

A s2k is slightly faster or equal (depends on my s2k) to a e36 m3 in terms of speed in straight line. with mods, obviously the better modded car wins.

Even race until you chalk up his mods. Then you lose.

Thats why you get a Turbo, so you could hang with the Brand new M3's

Stock E36 M3's are just about on par with a stock S2000. The best 1/4 mile times I've seen from s2000's are 13.6 and 13.7's. The best I've seen from the e36 (with no mods or weight reduction) is 13.9. They should come down to the driver given both stock. However you might also have to take into consideration most of these e36 M's are pushing 10 years old now, so take it with a grain of salt, especially considering the way BMW's love to be serviced!

Considering his mods I'd say your outcome is about right.
