really....I saw that on m3forum.com and thought people would enjoy. Great race... I had a similar race with a modded mach. I pulled a little more though.....

That Mach1 had 294 rwhp and still got slightly pulled by a stock M3. A stock M3 only puts out about 260-270 rwhp, yet is so quick. Why? Gearing? They certainly are not light.

 

Who knows why. I have raced both the M and Mach in stock trim. I did pull more on the Mach up top though. I think one reason is because the M intake may be less restrictive then the Mach's allowing it to breath better and pull on the top end. The 4.6 DOHC heads need alot of air and the stock Mach intake isnt all that good.
