Please read my post once again. I have the word "stock" 3 times...I was NEVER referring specifically to your car.

What mods do you have? Nothing short of a supercharger is going to make an older NSX that fast..

I think out of the hole the M5 would murder me, but from the speed we went from, it had to of helped me. I was in VTEC land 2nd gear when we started. Thats the best place to be for a run in this car. I have driven several M5's and the torque puts you back in the seat, but they are not as fun to drive as M3's. The M3 is so much more nimble than the larger M5. Both great cars though.

After he got 3-4 car lengths on you and hit 125 MPH he probably shut down. Wouldn't you? That would explain how he stopped pulling more than the possibility of you catching him.

I ran a 13.1 at 106 mph in my 92 NSX bone stock... that being said the M5 is a faster car and will spank a NA S2000 at highway speeds w/ the top up, let alone top down.

Ya, i ran a 13.36 stock with DRs in my NSX, but I still believe my car has 4.23s cuz it doesn't feel like ANY of my friends NSX's...now exhaust and ported intakes and some suspension mods and wider, stickier tires which allow me to launch at 4,500 with nothing but a chirp.

well the M5 was in VANOS land

NO STOCK s2000 CAN RUN WITH AN M5 ANYWHERE ON THE ROAD (if the M5 isnt a complete moron) Even with a bad launch, an M5 should still easily overtake an S2000 anywhere. seems you forget the M5 is designed for the German Autobahn, where the FASTEST cars in the world roam....The S2000 is not

"They are closer to high 13's at very low 100's..."

Don't think so...I think a 13.4 or so is normal for a stock, pre 97 NSX. Don't forget, the pre 97 is lighter and stiffer. Well, at least the 91-93's. 94 had a few things to make it heavier, and in 95 was the Targa top. 95-96 would be the slowest NSX's out.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure a 13.4 or so is normal for a stock 91-93 NSX. I have seen faster times then that from a stock NSX, pre 97.
