Default Me vs. 06 w/ 75 shot

I saw a Laguna blue driving in front of me on the highway. I gave 'em a thumbs up because that color looks soooo good. They waved back and followed me off the exit. We pulled over into my friends shop so I could drop my gf off to pick up my Accord to bring home. They were very nice guys and had just left the S2katlanta meet. The guy said he had a 75 shot and wanted to give it a go. We went from 40 and I walked him to probably about 100 or so. He kept up till the turbo spooled(which wasn't long), we waved and were gone. What does a 75 shot usually give our cars? I had my setup on low boost (370rwhp). Nice guys, wish I had gotten their #.

That's a tough one. But I would think a 75 shot would give 75 hp. That would be about 90-95 less than your peak.

Do you know how low in RPM he was spraying? I imagine not low enough, adjusted that way to protect his driveline. Although you have an awesome set-up I think he should have gotten a jump. Did I mention you have an awesome set-up?

Thanks I don't know anything about NOS, but he said it was set to spray as soon as he went WOT. He jumped at first but we went from 40 so I was in 2nd and had almost instant spool-up

I know who you're talking about. Asian guy right? I was at that meet on Tuesday. He told me he has a 100 shot though... interesting.

He has it set up to engage at VTEC, and not earlier so he isn't as quick as he could be. I'm sure it's pretty crazy though.

And yes, very nice guy. He and his friend own like 6 240sx's one of which is an sr20 swap. They said they were going to set it to 20 lbs of boost so they could blow the motor for fun

They ran a 75 shot of nitrous on HP TV once and it got like 62 whp. But nitrous hit differently than FI. When it is on there is no boost curve, it is on all or nothing. So you get the 60+ whp at low revs to high revs (however long it is programmed to spray). I would think a 100 shot to keep up with your car is more believable (I believe they got around mid 80's to the wheel on that), but would need some other stuff to avaid breakup/detonation.
