Default 06 S2000 vs. Porsche

Last night i raced a Porsche. I have a 06 AP2 w/ intake, test pipe and exhaust. Started when i switched lanes to make a right turn into the freeway and i noticed the Porsche driving fast behind me. He started tailing me as he wanted to get on the the freeway as well. After i noticed he was behind me i took the turn a little quicker than normal and i sped up to enter the freeway and he was driving fast to catch up. As we were on the freeway there was quite some cars so i was just cruising it and then the Porsche found a open gap to pass me. After that i knew he wanted to play cause he stepped on it next to me. So, then i changed lanes to pass cars all the slow cars causing traffic and passed him as he was stuck behind a car. After that little traffic i saw 2 open lanes for a good distance. I waited for him at around 60 something mph at 4th gear. He came next to me but never side by side he stayed 1/2 - 1 car behind for some reason so i just floored it. When we both floored it was almost the same pace then i started pulling slowly away. After we hit 90 something mph he left off so i did the same. After that race i pulled up next to him again as he passed me cause of traffic but he never wanted to race again. I'm not too sure what type of Porsche was it but it said Turbo on the back and it looked like a 911. I don't know but those cars are supposed to be fast right?

May have just had a turbo badge. Or a very old one (the 911 Turbo started back in the '70s) that was not in good working order. From a highway roll, there really isn't a 911 Turbo from any year that wouldn't walk us. From a dig, we might have a chance against a 70s or 80s Turbo since their turbo was slow to build boost.

The Porsche didn't seem too old i would say maybe in the 90s. It might of just been a turbo badge but he took off on me a few times when i was stuck behind a car and it seemed to be decent. At first i thought i was going to get killed but i said why not since he wanted to play.

Going 60-70mph on 4th gear i was around 5k rpm. Vtec 6k.

if in the 90's it prob was a 993 and he would have walked you, if it was a 996 he def would have walked you, a 997 not even close. maby he was in 6th gear and 2 cars behind you to see how hed do. as everyone said you would have lost tremendiously if it was a turbo trying.

also if it was a 996 turbo or 997 turbo with any type of mod like exhaust or intake would give it hardcore hp gains, like 40 hp for exhaust. and if he had a tune the 997 turbos with tunes usually get upwards of 100hp. they take to mods extremely well.

Of course I had a guy in a Civic racing me the other day...I never realized we were racing until he started hootn and hollering at a light about how he couldn't believe he kept up with me. Then I met his expectations when the light turned green.
