Default Me vs. modded RSX

Driving down Rt. 1/9 going into jersey city I come behind a couple of cars. A lowered RSX pulles up. I can hear his exhuast, nice sounding, throaty but not obnoxious. I look over at him and his girl, the windows are slightly tinted so I cant tell if they are looking at me. Shrugging I begin adjusting my stereo (turning up the rap music). To my delight, the RSX throws down the gauntlet, reving up next to me. Without looking at him, I smile and turn up the volume (Hear great things about the gains of header/exhaust/ecu, I've always wanted to run a modded RSX). Jay-Z is pounding at my windows and vibrating through my seat. The lights turn green and we slowly jocky for position, knowing that in a few seconds a lane will open up. My s2000 slowly accelerates to the V-tec threshold. I wrap my hand gently around the shifter. I am in 1st and concentrate on relaxing my hand, mentally preparing myself for a lightling shift. Like Mosses parting the red sea, a path opens up. Adrenaline poors into my bloodstream, ahhhhhhh euphoria. I quickly speed up and wait for the rsx to follow me onto the path of enlightenment. With the music blaring in my ears, I bury the throttle into the floormat as soon as I see him pull into my lane. The tach rockets towards 9 grand. CONCENTRATE, shift fast...not hard, let the fingertips feel the syncros working to guide the speed of the shift, dont grind. BAM! Perfect shift! The rear end of my car gets squirley for a millisecond. Now, relax and get ready for third. Bam! Again perfect shift. I glance into my rear view mirror, I am slowly pulling away from him. The road becomes a blurred tunnel, lights and colors whizzing by me at incredible speeds. The F20C screaming at me to push harder. By 90 I have 2-3 car lengths. I let off the gas and gently slow down. Ahhhh....the sweet taste of satisfaction. The RSX blowes by me. We come to the next red light and I roll my window down. "Hey, pretty quick RSX!" "Thanks.....but not as fast as your car" was his reply. I come to find out that he has pulleys, exhaust, intake, and headers. Luckily for me, he forgot to open the valve to his 75shot of laughing gas in his trunk before he left his house. We parted amiably and I headed home. And just to appease the tree huggers, it was at night, very cold, on a crowded residential road, and I had just lost my right contact lens.

(note: the characters in this story are fictional, any similarity to events that have occured in real life is coincidental)

Hahahaha...I like how you explain what you're thinking, shifting, etc. Nice kill. Before he got the exhaust or headers, he should have picked up Hondata...
