I was wondering how my s2000 would hold up against my uncle's 2002 Camaro SS from a roll of about 30mph? The SS is stock and my mods are listed. The only mod I won't use in the race is nitrous because its not fully set up to my liking yet. I realize these types have races have been discussed many times before and that I will probably lose, but I was just curious if my mods and being that the race would start from a roll would help at all. You would lose. But at least you would look good doing it.

 

As far as straight line performance goes, here's a good rule of thumb:

SS = C5

 

Clarification:

Straight line performance (general rule)...

LS1 F-body = C5

 

Someone 'round these parts is fond of saying, "Hell hath no fury like 9000 RPM's". This is not true. I like my S2000, but I owned a Formula and 9000 RPM's hath no fury like 345 lb-ft of torque.

Take him to a road course with a lot of "S" curves and few straightaways and watch him struggle to keep the rear tires behind the fronts.
