Default Mini S vs. AP1 S2000

A mini s pulled up to me today and complimented me on my exhaust and said the car looks MEAN. We were rolling at about 15mph talking so I was still in first gear. He said, "I wanna see what those can do", and he floored it. Needless to say I DOMINATED him. I wouldn't have even considered this a race. I also had the heater on FULL I always like racing with the air off cause it makes it feel like I'm doing something special... (or am I? Because I heard most new cars just shut the A/C off when floored anyways)

HA, lol. Well these guys were pretty cool. But they had one major flaw... They said they thought their supercharger could beat my V-6 (with the invidia exhaust being so deep i don't blame them ) I told them about a HUGE local meet on wednesdays with all cars and they said they'd show up so I guess I'll be meeting them again

Nice Kill...

Those minis are pretty damn cool. Me like them... lol. I wish they would have kept it's original size but they just keep making it bigger every year. It's like... what's the point of still calling it a mini u know?

I test drove one and besides handling it didn't have much going for it. (except rear seats but I'm not really sure what those are used for? )
I don't know... but when it comes to driving tiny cars, it just feels cool to me. Like when I went to Acapulco, Mexico, the taxis over there are the old VW Bugs and they were so much fun to ride in.

Never been in a mini, so I wouldn't know about the backseat. All I have to say is this... if there's enough room to fit myself and a girl back there, it would be good enough for me... lol.

I drove a Mini S once. They need the S/C jus to keep up with traffic. They look neat, but that is about as far as it goes. lol. Nice "kill" though.

i got a half a car on my buddy's mini S from 20-100 two times in a row. granted I was in my daily driver, 98 buick riviera supercharged with 250hp280tq at 3700lb's or so. off the line I beat him by 4 cars, but I dont think my friend can launch at all. they are fun little cars, and nice kill

For you Mini lovers, you need to try the classics (actual Minis). They are an absolute blast to drive. I can think of few cars under 60K that corner aything like them. There is also a huge modification market for them and unique projects that go on. I've seen one with a 1.6L honda engine crammed in. Makes for ridiculous HP/Wt ratio.
