My cousin tried to get one of the one with the Cooper S Works package thingis and was told there was an 8 month wait list for the coopers with the John Works kit.

I sold my tuned Cooper S to buy my S, my Cooper S would leave my S standing in any gear at any revs at any speed but I do prefer the S

speed isn't everything

std car vs std car the S will be quite a lot quicker as long as it's in vtec

you can make the Cooper S's fast for little money tho hence why mine was faster than my S

The engine mods I had on mine were smaller supercharger pulley (increases boost to about 16psi), manifold, test pipe, cat-back (straight through), bigger IC, bigger injectors, CAI, TB and a custom map

haha, that's not "little money" anymore..
a S wit those mod can dust the Mini S as well

What cracks me up is the sight of I think its a Mini Cooper S convertible with roll bars. Anyone seen those yet? I have a few times. Looks hilarious, but they are neat I guess.
