I used to have a 05 RSX Type S with hondata Ecu, intake, header, tespipe, exhaust, and that's about it. I ran a STi with intake, fmic, and NOT tuned and I kept up dead even with him from 10-80mph. Then he started pulling on me. But now I've sold that car and I'm a proud owner of a Protuned Stage 2 STi. I have now raced my buddy who I sold my RSX type S too and I beat him by 5 to 6 car lengths. LOL. I believe it though... a well tuned S2K can cause a lot of damage to stock STi's, I would venture to say a well tuned S2k will keep up with my Stage 2 STi but I don't think it would pull on me.

I'm only going to say this once, and it's because I'm your friend, but dude, please, put the crack-pipe down.

Any year STi will own any year S2K from a dig, or from a roll, unless the driver is incompetent, it's just that simple. Beyond that, normal OTS mods to both cars makes the gap bigger, not smaller.

I'm not even going to touch the RSlowX comment, even modded those things are a waste of gas to an STi. Good lookin' car tho' .

Forgive me if I sound like an ass from time to time, I don't mean anything by it. I love the RSX and S2K, but I've neven seen either one with simple bolt-on mods run a low 13, which is where a stock STi sits. And although the roll isn't the STi's strong suit, it has enough power to overcome both (unless you start at over 100 mph, then it's really close between the S2K and STi).

Yes, from time to time V and I go round and round .
