Modded Mustang 5.0 vs GTI 1.8t
The miniwagon strikes again....
Coming home from NH last night a 90's LX 5.0 with a loud exhaust was following me through some traffic. It was pretty thick so we were basically jockying for the best spot to get around the build up.. I'd find a lane and get by him, then he'd follow me, get another lane and get by me.. Finally after about 20 minutes of heavy traffic, we found an open break.. He was ahead of me, and when I saw the opening, I new he'd hit it.. Sure enough, I heard the roar of his fast-sounding V8... I gunned it in 4th, stayed behind him for a second or two, then proceeded to just WALK right by him.. I waved as I went by, then threw some more salt in the wound with the hazzards... The commensurate ricer flyby came next, but traffic was ahead so I just let him go... Good things...

LOL, well I definitely pulled it like it was a 15 second car.. Next I'll have to smoke an LT1 to make sure I really am fast...

Nah, I'm not there yet.. when I go big turbo is when I start chasing LS1's.. LT1's on the other hand are low 14's cars.. I'd guestimate I'm in the mid 14's with a decent launch.. a few more boltons and "all your S2000's are belong to us"..

ok, but only once in a while... just like stock GTI's are mid 14's cars once in a while..
head over to www.ls1tech.com or www.camaroz28.com for proof, many LT1 owners will enlighten you. besides why cant it? 245-260rwhp and 300rwtq stock with a 3500 lb car? physics says yes!
