I was driving back home and along the way a blue 04-05 STi happens to be stopped at a light in front of me. After a few minutes of driving, I was able to catch up to him. Due to traffic we had no where to really go so we just lunged back and forth letting each other hear the bovs / turbos .

Eventually we both turned off and had open road in front of us so we both gunned it at about 35mph. Naturally I took off and I just saw him getting smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror. I cut off at about 100mph or so. Ironically we both stopped to get gas at the same gas station. So we chatted a bit; found out he was pusing ~400awhp with a largo turbo, etc. He also owns a 900hp SCed mustang that does wheelies

Either way, it was a good race. I loved the 04-05 year sti's so I figured I would share my encounter

 

God, I have waited too long, I need an Inline Pro kit, nice kill, how much WHP are you at anyway?

 

 

440ish low, 505 high...this race was done on low
