1) my friend in his stage 2 WRX and i were cruising to the mosque when a 240SX with a loud spooling turbo, 3" exhaust, loud BOV, who knows what else comes up behind and revving and letting off to blet us hear his BOV. he comes up next to me and from about a 40mph roll we take it to about 120. he pulled about a car length on me then i kept up one car length behind the entire time. we shut down around 120. he then proceeded to take on my friend who left him like he was in reverse.

2) i see a hood scoop and circle lights behind me at a red light. we both pull off and he starts to come up on my tail then back down so i can hear his BOV. i gun it in 2nd to redline and pull about half a car, with him maintaining that distance behind me. he then pulls up beside me and from about 50mph we gun it, me in 2nd. i pull on him until about 90mph with about 3 cars on him. i was confused at this one because i thought even a stock SRT-4 was supposed to toast me...
i give him the thumbs up and so does he and we part ways.




cliffnotes:

1) me v. modded turbo 240SX = i lose by a car
2) me v. SRT-4 (mods?) = i win by 2 cars

Stock srt-4 should beat you. Especially from a roll. It was either a bad driver or boost leak, or combination of both.

A completely stock srt-4 shouldn't give you any problems. Sounds about right

imola orange pearl to be exact im still trying it out sampling the color see if i like it. I just helped put a 50 trim on a srt4 this past weekend. modded ones are def not slow.

^^yeh when i heard that BOV i thought it was a lost cause but i decided to give it a shot cause the guy really wanted to run, plus he looked like he was over 250 lbs...

a turbonetics turbo. Some are fast the ones that aren't all flashy are the ones you gotta watch out for. We got one that looks pretty stock.. a srt4 thats almost 500 hp. Thanks it was one of those colors that was like hmm i gotta have it. especially after seeing the touge amuse s2000.

That's the thing, many people just get a loud BOV for their "performance" mod and stop there. He probably gave himself a boot leak when installing it too and lost power lol
