Either he was BS'in you and he has no mods, or he was in the wrong gear. Sorry but no way will a SC'ed S2000 keep up with a Z06 + about another 60 whp in mods. A SC'ed would have trouble keeping up with a stock Z06. If you got the jump I would understand against a stock Z06, but one that has another roughly 75 crank hp and you would be done.

Like I said, I didn't think I even had a chance so I wasn't even gonna front. He wanted to give his ego a boost so he decided he would pick on the little 4 cylinder. In sayin' that, He proly thought he would easily chase me down after giving me some room. Also I stated that he was disapointed even though he passed me with ease after hitting about 110. And about the 420 whp... he wanted so badly to show me the dyno sheet that was in his car but frankly I didn't really care what it said. Regardless he should've killed me. Maybe now he'll go learn how to drive instead of relying on his muscle to help him take on cars with, in stock form, have far less capacity. The funny thing was... no wait the ridiculous thing was, that he said he always punks on S's so he knew mine wasn't stock. So he drives around looking for 4 cylinder cars to help himself feel better. A real winner!

S2000s are not as good dragsters as other big-engined cars.
