I played with a GS430 not long ago. Forced him to be behind me when I was 1st at the a light. Could see a teen driving and his buddy riding shotgun...they were both smiling, giggling and pointing at my car. Rolled out normally. He was riding my bumper. As soon as I was at VTEC I punched it. He kept up pretty well, but I was slowly creeping away. The road narrowed to a 2 lane and I backed off. He went back to riding my bumper...the buddy was still smiling & giggling, but the driver looked like he just licked a limon.

GS430 I believe comes w/302hp while the new gs450 comes w/339 and a 0-60 time of 5.2, which betters the s2k in stock trim. Definitely a decent sedan, i just think the interior isn't up to par.

I sat in a new '07 GS and it was beautiful and rich. Also sat in a new LS, its interior is something else and its 1000000-speaker system

1. My roommate has an '01 430 and I pulled him slightly on the highway from ~50-100. I have an intake and clutch/flywheel. He has air filter and some performance chip.
2. The new GS both come with 300hp+, difference being that the 350 is a V6 with less torque.
3. The IS350 is the fastest car in the Lexus lineup, and it only edges out the S2k...sometimes. Therefore the GS and LS can be expected to come close but no cigar. Maybe from a highway roll...maybe.
GPWonTan, were you going to the VA Golf Center/Academy or Twin Lakes? I'm around there all the time.
