Ever encounter or see someone doing somethign so stupid it just had to be posted on the morons in the road thread? Id love to hear other peoples encounters from silly, stupid or just dangerous things you see other drivers do on a regular basis.

A have 1 thats a personal favorite but also seen one today thats in the top 3.

Instance 1: Driving to Naples, FL along I-75, i put on a turn blinker to move into the faster lane (and there is about 4-5 car lengths of space) then i guess the guy didnt want me to come over so he floors it and gives me a huge smile and a double barrel bird, but he seemed to have not noticed the car in front of him stepping on brakes very quickly, so he tapped that ass (ran into the car infront of him), and from here out i couldnt resist, I yelled at him; Look at the bright side buddy, i didnt get infront of you!

Instance 2: Some kinda Mercedes was badassing it through cars behind weaving in and out of every possible hole, then i notice hes goin for me and there was seriously no space for him to get into so i step it up alittle and somehow he still manages to get in (which is cool by me) but the funny ass part is he just wasnt paying attention to the raised medial slope and smacks the hell outta it and blows a tire and rim.

 

They (the morons) are everywhere. I was on I-95 the other day, in 5 fairly full lanes of traffic, when an SUV zooms by on the right (paved) shoulder; then another zooms by on the LEFT shoulder -- the little space between the four-foot median wall and the far-left lane -- throwing up debris as he goes. They were obviously racing. A mile or two up the road was a disabled car in that left shoulder, so that guy must have got lucky and seen it in time to move into the real lane.

I guess they were having a "Street Encounter." HPH

 

There is a two lane one-way street near my house. I have lost count of the number of people who turn left, from the RIGHT HAND LANE, at the junction at the end of it. Most of them dont even signal as they cut you off.

Best one was waiting patiently at the light in the right lane of a three lane highway. The junction is a no-right turn from the direction I am going, and I am of course going straight. Next thing I hear a Pizza delivery car squeeze up the right hand side of me, in the tiny gap between me and the curb, wheels scraping off the curb. He makes a right at the red light, goes straight across the oncoming 2 lanes and down a side street. I was like WTF? Then I hear a bwwop-bwop of a police car siren behind me, I politely move over to the left, so the cop can go and bust the dumbass. This was right beside a police station. What a dumb****!

 

I was at a 4 way intersection going eastbound trying to make a left.I see an old guy coming southbound trying to make a left also,as he made his left he hit the sidewalk and blew his right tire and his hubcap flew off but he just kept going.(old guy looked like he was about a 1000 years old)

 

At the Spugen meet a couple years back there was a guy in a hatch that was looking at our cars so hard he missed the driveway by over 50 feet and took out a parked trailer on the side of the road.


The best one was the chick putting on here eye make-up and she bounced off the raised center median at 60 mph and never missed a stroke. When she bumped it again I changed lanes and slowed down to let her get away.

 

I don't have any current stories to post, but I can post some pet peeves of mine on the highway.


1. When your entering the highway and there is someone in front of you that
stays the constant speed of 40-50mph the whole way then tries to merge into
traffic moving at 75-85mph. That Sucks!!

2. Then on the other hand you have the guy that floors it up the ramp on the ramp
only to realize that he doesn't have room to merge in and he has to slam his brakes on, and almost come to a stop at the end of the ramp.

3. This is another gripe of mine. You know when you are driving along with your cruise set and, you come up on a slower car. You move over to go around and then after you have passes he passes you and you this repeats itself several times.

4. The slow mover in the fast lane (lots of the time they are on the cell phone) that will never move over even when you ride their ass.

5. Last but not least, the guy who flys up and rides your ass and when you move over he creeps ever so slowly by you.


These are some of my not favorite things on the highway.

 

About a month ago Im hanging outside on the porch, and I hear a noise... it keeps getting louder and louder. Eventually I see its a riced out Civic driving by with a flat tire... I figured that it was just blown and they were going to pull over to get it changed out. Well about 15 minutes later Ive forgotten all about it... when I hear the same noise. Ill be damned its the SAME car going by in the opposite direction STILL riding on the flat tire!! I LMAO!!

 

By South Coast Plaza-Sunflower/Bear st.- Idiots always stop at this crossing It kinda looks like this. Its a right turn only lane and it merges into cross traffic kinda like an on ramp but your not supposed to stop its set so you can keep driving and merge, and Im pretty sure its hard to merge from a dead stop
